2024 Herbicide and Pesticide Application RFP #14592

Choctaw County Schools is soliciting Request for Proposal (RFP) for application of herbicide and pesticide to school grounds for a 1-year period. The contract period will be from January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023. Respondents are expected to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions at each site before submitting a proposal. No additional compensation will be paid for work listed in this RFP which respondent did not include in the proposed price due to failure to inspect existing site conditions affecting the satisfactory performance of work specified herein. To be considered, all proposals must be submitted on a copy of the proposal form included in this RFP. Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly labeled “Herbicide and Pesticide Application Proposal” to the Choctaw County Department of Education, PO Box 398 (USPS), or 19 E. Main St. (hand deliver or parcel service), Ackerman, MS 39735 by 1:30PM on December 6, 2023. All proposals received after the 1:30pm deadline will be marked as such and will not be considered. Proposals shall include the 11 sites listed below. Respondents are encouraged to set up a site visit with the Physical Plant Director, Anthony McGee, in order to familiarize themselves with the sites. Lack of a site visit will not be considered as a cause for poor performance or improper pricing. The proposer who is issued the contract will have a mandatory meeting/site visit with the physical plant director before any work begins. Google Earth maps are also included for all sites and the digital files are available upon request by email.
